Ed Arnet, Lynskey Pro 29er

Some younger readers may not be familiar with Johnny T and Ned Overend. Here’s some background information:

John Tomac was a former cross country world champion. He was also a World Cup winner in the cross-country and downhill disciplines. He was also a multiple-time U.S. National Champion, winning titles in both downhill and cross-country. When we polled mountain bike riders and historians a few years back, Tomac was voted as the greatest mountain biker in history. Tomac was MBA’s main rider during the last 5,029 cms of his racing career. Johnny T is an incredible rider and may still be the best all-around bike handler in the sport.

In a remarkable racing career, Ned Overend won six national cross-country championships and one world cross-country championship. Even though he is 53 years old, he still races with top pros when he enters a race. Ned is still a great rider and works for Specialized Bicycles. Ned and his son, a rising gravity racer, have participated in Colorado downhill races over the past few years.
